Could Time Really Pass Any Slower? I Mean Seriously, I Feel Like We’ve Been Waiting On Block Leave Forever Now!!! Oh Wait… We Have! But Thankfully Its Just Around The Corner And Neither Of Us Seem To Think It’s Going To Come Soon Enough. It’s Definately Going To Be Great To Get To Spend Time With Every One… And To Get Out Of Louisiana For A While! Lol. Well Chris Gets Home Tomorrow From Their Live Fire Training, It’s About Freaking Time! Living Alone Is Over Rated. Every One Said It’d Be A Nice Break From Each Other, But In Truth I Just Really Spent The Whole Time Missing My Husband. I Don’t Care What Anyone Says, I’d Rather Have Him Home With Me Than Out In The Field. But I Worked Hard Finding Ways To Keep Myself Busy. I’ve Started A New Job Right Off Of Base At A Day Care… Okay Quit Laughing Now! I Know Its The Last Place Any One Would Expect Me To Ever Work, But These Kids Definately Need The Help. And They’re Pretty Good About Stealing All Of My Energy! Ha Ha But Aside From Working I’ve Just Spent A Lot Of Time Baking And Cleaning [Which Isn't Such A Long Task When Chris Isn't Around!!!] Well I Think That’s All For Now… Oh And Happy Birthday Momma!

I Know Its Been A While Since I’ve Told The World About Every Thing That’s New In  Life, But I’m A Busy Girl! Lol. The Most Exciting News To Share Is That All Of Our Belongings  Are In Transit To Us, And We Are So Excited To Have Our Things!!! Poor Mom Though, She Had A Little Bit Of A Rough Time Watching Those Guys Take All Of Her Little Girls Things Away, “Its Just So Permenant!” Why Yes Momma, That’s What Happens In Life. Lol. I Tried Telling Her She Could Hide In The Truck, But Only If She Brought Along Bella. Oh How I Miss That Pain In The Ass Dog. But At Least She Was Potty Trained, And She Was Quite The Guard Dog. I Seemed To Have Traded Down In The Doggy World… Hmm. Don’t Get Me Wrong, Our Little Rat Is Cute As A Button, But If He Would Just Learn How To Use The Bathroom Outside He Wouldn’t Have To Sleep In His Cage At Night. Its Not That Hard To Figure Out Is It?! He Needs To Learn Fast Though Because We Have A Trip To Minnesota Approaching Us Here Soon, And If He Goes To The Bathroom Just Once In The Car, Chris Will Probably Run Him Over! Lol. Hopefully He Is Well Behaved Though. Chris And I Are Both Very Excited For Block Leave At The End Of May! He So Desperately Needs Some Quality Time With His Family, Especially His Mommy. He’s Been Rather Home Sick Lately, Poor Boy. But Don’t Worry Honey, We’ll Be Fixing That Probably In Just Six Weeks Or So! However, Before We Get The Break That Will Be Much Deserved, Chris Leaves Me On Sunday And Will Be Gone Until The Very End Of April, If Not Beginning Of May. Sad Sad Story. I’m Not Too Thrilled To Have To Sleep Alone At Night Again, Or About The Fact That They Are Going To Be Shooting At Him With Live Rounds! I Swear If Something Happens I Just Might Kill… Lol. Three Weeks Alone Though, What Am I To Do? I’m Going To Be Extremely Bored!!! Ha Ha Oh Well. I’ll Suck It Up And Move On. I’m Thinking Though That That Is All I Have For News, I’m Sure I’ll Update More Later On. So We Have Some Amazing News! Chris Get His EIB [Expert Infantry Badge]  Today, Yay!!! That Means These Last Three Weeks Of Hell Have Been Worth It. Thank Goodness! Lol. Also More Good News, The Movers Will Be Going To Bonners To Get All Of Our Stuff On April Seventh And We’ll Have It No Later Than The Twenty-First. It’s Going To Be So Amazing To Be Able To Sleep In A Real Bed Again. =]] Anywho I Think That’s All That Is Any Sort Of Exciting.

So I Know That I’ve Been Really Slacking On This Whole Updating Thing, But Things Have Been Busy Here So You All Will Just Have To Suck It Up And Quit Complaining! Lol. Not Sure What I Have To Say For Updates. We Got Base Housing For Those Of You Who Haven’t Heard Yet. Its Soooo Much Nicer Of A Place, And A Shorter Commute Makes My Life Less Stressful. Chris Is Working Ridiculous Hours And I Never See Him. Well Unless He’s Sleeping And Then I Just Hear Loud Ridiculous Snoring. Some Nights You’d Think A Train Was Coming Through Our Bedroom. Lol He’s Just Lucky I Love Him I Guess But Hopefully He’ll Have This Next Weekend Off And We Might Actually Get The Chance To Spend Some Time Together. Lol That Would Be So Amazing. But In The Mean Time I Spend My Days Playing With The Mutt… He Sure Is Getting Big. Kinda Makes Me Sad. Ha Ha. But That’s All I Can Think Of That’s Going On. So Just A Quick Update For The Whole World. Life Has Been Busy Busy For Us, And It Doesn’t Seem To Be Slowing Down Anytime Soon. We’ve Settled Into Our Apartment Finally, Only To Be Moving Again Here Soon To Base Housing Lol. I Love The Fact That I Get To See My Husband Every Single Day, However It’d Be Nice If They Didn’t Keep Him 23 Hours A Day Lol. Louisiana Is A Whole New World Than Anywhere I’ve Ever Been, And As Much As People Complain About This Place, I’m Actually Kinda Liking It Here. Especially 90 Degree Weather In March!! Lol. Texas Is A World Of Its Own February 25, 2009

So After Four Days Of Riding In The Car With My Mother, I’m Proud To Say That I Didn’t Kill! She Didn’t Make It Easy On Me Though. If She Learned Anything Through This Trip Though, Its That “TomTom” Our GPS Has A Much Better Sense Of Direction Than She Does. After Several Arguements Between Mom And TomTom, She Finally Learned Her Lesson And Followed Directions. And In The End She Was Glad Because TomTom Saved Her Life Going Through San Antonio. Lol What An Adventure. The Drive Was Long And Boring And I’m So Glad That I’m Almost To Louisiana! (Never Thought I Would Say That Lol). Through The Whole Drive I Swear The View Was Always The Same, The Mountains Just Got A Whole Lot Smaller. I Learned Though That Texas Isn’t Flat, We Climbed Up Hill From New Mexico To San Antonio, And I’m Fairly Certain The Hills Aren’t Over With Yet. Hmm Shall Make For An Interesting Drive Tomorrow. Lol. I’m Planning On Leaving As Early As I Can In The Morning, Because After Going Through Rush Hour Tonight, I’m Fairly Certain I Just Might Die Tomorrow. Every One Wish Me Luck!!! Lol

So In Going With The Flow Of Celebrating Fat Tuesday, Mom And I Went Down And Had Dinner On The River Walk At An Interesting Restraunt Called Dicks. Thanks Bill For Recommending Such An… Interesting Place. Lol Very Much Overwhelmed Me. But The Food Was Amazing And The People Were Really Nice. They Managed To Keep A Smile On My Face The Whole Time. Which Is Impressive Cause If Any One Has Talked To Me Lately I’ve Been Quite The Crab Ass. It Was Very Relaxing To Walk The River Tonight, I Definately Needed A Cool Down.

So This Morning I Wake To Being Only Inches From The Mexican Border, How Cool Is That? Only One More Full Day Of Driving Left, Wednesday Only Counts As Half A Day =]. So Far Driving Has Been Good, Well For Me At Least Seeing As Mom Is The One Behind The Wheel 99% Of The Time. Lol. But We’ve Been Having About Ten Hour Days On The Road, Not Too Bad. Day One Success February 22, 2009

So Just To Update The Whole World, Mom And I Left Yesterday Afternoon To Begin Our Trip To Louisiana. Yay! We Stayed The Night In Ontario, Oregon Last Night At My Aunt And Uncles. We Didn’t Get In Till Pretty Late, But The Drive Went Fine, Weather For The Most Part Was Good, There Was A Little Bit Of Fog Going Up The Blues But Lucky For Me Mom Was Driving Lol. So We’ve Been Spending The Day With Family, And We’ll Be Leaving Tomorrow Morning Really Early To Head To Las Vegas! Hopefully We’ll Get In Early Enough We Could Walk The Strip For A Little While. I Miss It Down There. But I’ll Update More Later On =]

More Road Tripping, Yay! February 6, 2009

Just So Everyone Knows, I’ve Set Up An Account On Here So That Chris Can Start Doing His Own Blogging. Once He Can Figure Out How To That Is. Lol. It’ll Be Kinda Interesting To Hear His View Point About Some Things That Are Sure To Come. Plus It Gives Him A Chance To Brag About His Favorite Thing, Me Of Course! Just Kidding, He’ll Be Able To Fill You All In On The Army And The “Cool Shit” That He Gets To Do. But I Guess We’ll Have To See If He Ever Actually Does It.
Anywho, My Mother Has Once Again Decided To Make My Life A Little More Interesting. This Morning She Decided That She Was Going To Wear Heels To A Meeting, Then Once She Was Outside She’d Slip And Fall On The Ice While Sending Her Bags, Notes, And Purse Flying. Lol Yes Grace Is Her Middle Name Today. Although, You’d Think That A Normal Person Would Fall And Land On Their Ass, But Oh No, Not My Mom, She Decides To Land On Her Knee And Her Shoulder. So What A Lovely Wake Up Call I Had This Morning, The One Morning I Planned To Sleep All Day Long, Nope Doesn’t Happen. She Should Feel Rather Special Though Because I Ignored Chris At Seven This Morning, But I Answered For Her. [Sorry Honey!] So My Mom And I Had Some Good Bonding Time As We Spend Our Whole Morning Together In The Emergency Room Lol. I Kinda Felt Like It Was A Good Family Moment Though Because Her X-Ray Guy Is My Brother In Law. Gotta Love Small Towns! Lol But Its Always A Good Conversation, Which I Enjoy. Lol. Over All Mom Just Strained A Few Muscel Type Things And Bruised Herself Really Well. Yay! Which Works Out Great That Nothing Is Broken Because We Are Leaving Tomorrow Morning Around Seven To Make The Drive Over To The Seattle Area. I’m Excited Though That I Get To Spend Time With Kasey. But That Drive Just Might Kill Me. I’m So Tired Of Driving!!! And I Haven’t Even Made It To Louisiana Yet. What Am I Getting Myself Into Here?! Oh Well… Life Goes On =]

Home Again! February 5, 2009

Yesterday Morning Whitney And I Piled Into The Car Once Again, To Make Our Trip Back To Bonners. We Got A Much Later Start Than We Had Planned, But I Was Tired And Not Feeling Well And No One Dared To Wake Me Up Ha Ha. The Trip Went Fine, The Roads Were Nice And The Weather Gave Us Some Beautiful Sights As We Came Over The Mountains. I’m Not Gonna Lie, I Was Pretty Excited To Be Getting Back To Bonners, There’s Just Something Comforting About Being “Home”. However, About Three Miles Outside Of City Limits I Damn Near Almost Turned Around. What The Hell Is With The Weather Here?! I Mean Seriously! The Whole Foggy Air And Ridiculously Cold Temperatures Are Enough To Drive A Person Crazy! Lol. Oh Well I Guess, I’m Home For Now. Mom And I Are Thinking Of Leaving The 21st And Making Our Driving Down To Louisiana. Well She’s Leaving From Dallas, She Seems To Think That Its Okay To Abandon Her Daughter For A Trip To Vegas. What Gives? Just Kidding! I’d Pick Vegas Over Louisiana Too If I Had The Choice. Sorry Honey. Anyways. I’m Hoping That Today And Tomorrow Will Be Enough Of A Break From The Car, Because I’m Leaving Friday To Go See Kasey In Seattle!!!! I’m Stoked. Its Been Forever! And If Her Baby Decided To Arrive This Weekend I Wouldn’t So Much Mind Either =]
